A Muse of Fire

The Band's second album, currently in post-production, is a revealing look at the creativity demonstrated by the musicianship of this fine group.

Music industry insiders around the nation clearly believe that Beau Vedettes' commercial success need not require selling its listeners short. Greg Knowles, three-term president of the L.A. chapter of the NARAS (Grammy Awards) board, was impressed enough with the music of Beau Vedette, to bring them out to Los Angeles to assist in the production of the group's second recording session. That tape made its way into the hands of Arista/BMG executive Richard Sweret who found Johnson and Hughes "guilty of intellingently written and commercially challenging music."

Legendary record producer, Nik Venet, invited Johnson and Hughes to return to L.A. to apppear on his prestigious songwriters concert series, "The Campfire Conspiracy."
