My name is Kevin Scott and I am a senior journalism major at Texas A&M University with a long interest in the life of Billy The Kid. I thought I would tell y'all a story.

This past summer my dad and I took a driving vacation throughout the West, stopping at such places as Durango, Ouray, and Silverton Colorado, as well as Yellowstone and Yosemite National Parks among other places. However, one of the highlights of our trip was visiting the gravesite of Billy The Kid in Fort Sumter, New Mexico. It was very exciting for me, as I have been interested in him since I was eight. Anyway, I got lots of pictures of the gravesite and surrounding area. The museum was filled with letters from The Kid, as well as many court documents, arrest warrants, death certificates, etc. It was truly one of the most awe-inspiring times of my life, one that will live with me forever. Someday, I plan to take my own kids on the same trip, and hopefully they will appreciate it as much as I did. Just thought y'all would enjoy that.
